Volunteer firefighters extinguished a house fire on the North Side. WNIN’s John Gibson reports:
Crews were called to the home in the 7700 block of Bartels Road, off Darmstadt Road, at about 7:30 Friday morning.
The occupants told Central Dispatch that they came home to find smoke in the house.
McCutchanville, Scott Township, and German Township firefighters were sent to the scene.
They reported having the fire knocked down in about 15 minutes.
There was no word of any injuries.
The cause is under investigation.
