U.S. 41 Crash Victim Identified as Evansville Man

Thomas Boyer, 74, was killed in the crash between Evansville and Henderson

An Evansville man is dead following a crash on Highway 41, near the Twin Bridges. WNIN’s John Gibson reports:

A semi and a car collided in the southbound lanes of 41 by the truck weigh station at about 11:30 Thursday morning.

The Henderson County Coroner identified the victim as 74-year-old Thomas Boyer of Evansville.

An autopsy was scheduled for Thursday evening.

There’s no word yet on the official cause of Boyer’s death.

Baskett and Henderson firefighters were called to the scene along with other first responders.

The crash and investigation slowed traffic on 41 during the midday hours.

There was no word on how the crash happened.
