Impact100 Owensboro to decide recipients in October

A prominent women’s group in Owensboro has announced finalists for its latest grants. WNIN’s John Gibson reports:

Impact100 says three non-profit organizations are finalists for a $9,200 grant to be awarded by Impact 100 NextGen; four non-profits are finalists for two residual grants of $27,500 each; and five non-profits are finalists for two $100,000 grant awards.

The finalists for the largest grants are Owensboro Dance Theatre, the RiverPark Center, My Sister’s Keeper, Habitat for Humanity, and the Daniel Pitino Shelter.

Winners will be decided on October 27th when Impact100’s members meet at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and Museum for the organization’s annual meeting.

Each finalist will offer a seven-minute presentation about their organization and project. Members will be able to read about each of the organizations and projects in advance on the website impact100owensboro.org
