Plane Crash Probed at French Lick Airport

The single-engine craft crashed Saturday night

Authorities are investigating the crash of a small plane at the French Lick Airport. WNIN’s John Gibson reports:

Indiana State Police say it happened just after 9:00 Saturday night.

First responders found the single-engine plane on fire.

Authorities said there was one occupant inside the plane. The Orange County Coroner pronounced the occupant deceased at the scene.

The victim's name has not been released.

The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the crash.

The ISP is assisting.
