A Henderson woman is in jail after allegedly abusing an elderly woman. WNIN’s Sarah Kuper has more on the charges:
Thirty year old Brook Ellis is charged with wanton abuse and neglect of an adult person – a felony – after an elderly woman called 911 Wednesday morning.
Police responded to the 600 block of Spring Garden Road where a woman told police Ellis had physically hurt her. Ellis was arrested and taken to the Henderson County Detention Center. She is also charged with possession of marijuana.
Police are still investigating. They ask anyone with further knowledge of the situation to call the Henderson Police Department or Crime Stoppers at 270 831 1111.
