A man is dead following a single-vehicle crash in Warrick County. WNIN’s John Gibson reports:
The Warrick sheriff’s office says the vehicle driven by 85-year-old Doyle Butts crashed into a utility pole on State Road 68 near Bethel Camp Road just after 3:00 Tuesday afternoon.
Deputies say a citizen who heard the crash was able to remove the driver just before the vehicle caught fire.
However, Butts died at the scene. There were no other occupants.
The Warrick County Sheriff's Office and Coroner’s Office are investigating.
