An eleven-year-old boy died in what police called a “fireworks incident” over the holiday weekend. WNIN’s John Gibson reports:
Indiana State Police say eleven-year-old Camrynn Ray McMichael died after the incident in the 900 block of N. Canal St. in Mt. Vernon Sunday night.
The ISP says Posey County Dispatch received a call regarding a child being seriously injured from fireworks.
They say McMichael died while being transported to an Evansville Hospital.
An autopsy was scheduled for Monday.
There’s no word of any charges in the case.
