Authorities are investigating irregularities in receipts at Burdette Park. WNIN’s John Gibson reports:
A release from the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office and the prosecutor’s office says Burdette Park Director Jerry Grannan discovered irregularities in campground receipts.
Authorities say the probe involves personnel matters and are not releasing much information.
They do say the matter has also been referred to the State Board of Accounts.
The release said Burdette Park and Vanderburgh County are committed to cooperating with law enforcement to fully resolve the issue.
It said officials will update the matter when appropriate.
