Authorities are investigating the discovery of human remains in Newburgh. WNIN’s John Gibson reports:
Newburgh Police told news outlets that officers were dispatched to an area near the Old Lock and Dam Saturday afternoon.
Police said human remains were found in a wooded area.
Authorities have not identified the remains or determined a cause of death.
The Warrick County Coroner's Office is assisting the Newburgh Police Department with the investigation.
