David Anthony Macke, 68, and Kara Frederick, 31, died in the shooting. Suspect Samuel Robb, 30, died in a police pursuit.

Authorities have released the identities of two Evansville residents shot to death in their West Side home and the man suspected of killing them. WNIN’s John Gibson has the update:

The Vanderburgh County Coroner’s Office identified the victims as 68-year-old David Anthony Macke and 31-year-old Kara Frederick.

Evansville Police found Macke and Frederick deceased inside their home in the 700 block of St. Joe Avenue late Thursday night.

Coroner Steve Lockyear said autopsies were planned for Sunday.

The suspect in the double homicide, 30-year-old Samuel Robb of Evansville, died a few hours later when he crashed his car during a police pursuit in Harrison County, near Corydon, IN.

It’s not clear what led to the deadly shootings.

The EPD said a dog was also found shot near the shooting scene.
