Warrick Stabbing Suspect Turns Himself In

Corey Fingers was wanted for Friday night attack

A man wanted for a stabbing in Warrick County has been arrested. WNIN’s John Gibson has the update:

The Warrick County Sheriff's Office says 31-year-old Corey James Fingers turned himself in Wednesday morning.

The Newburgh man was wanted in connection with Friday night’s stabbing on a parking lot at 10,240 Canal Street.

The sheriff’s office says the victim was taken to an area hospital and underwent surgery for his injuries.

The victim’s name has not been released.

Fingers faces charges of Aggravated Battery, Battery by Means of a Deadly Weapon, and being a Habitual Offender.

He’s jailed on a $500,000 cash bond.
