A young woman is dead and another person is seriously injured after an accident on the Lloyd Expressway. WNIN’s John Gibson has the update:
It happened at about Tuesday night at the Lloyd and Rosenberger.
Evansville Police said two pedestrians were attempting the cross the Lloyd when they were hit by a vehicle.
Both were taken to the hospital, where one of them died.
The coroner’s office identified the victim as 19-year-old Autumn Walsh.
The EPD says the driver of the vehicle was also taken to a local hospital where he consented to a blood draw, which is routine in a serious or fatal crash.
No charges have been filed and the investigation continues.
