Police investigate false report of fatal shooting
Henderson police are asking for information from the public after an alarming call Wednesday night. WNIN’s Sarah Kuper has more:
Henderson Police received a call just before 8pm Wednesday night - a man said he had just shot and killed his family and he was planning on harming himself. Police arrived at 1431 Woodlawn Drive but found the apartment completely vacant. After searching the area, police concluded the call was part of a prank.
Even so, they are asking the public to come forward if they know anything about the call. The number is 270 831 1295 or the crime stoppers number 270 831 1111.
The incident is considered disorderly conduct in the 2nd degree.
