An Evansville man is dead following an early morning crash in Warrick County. WNIN’s John Gibson has more:
First responders were dispatched to the single-vehicle accident on Highway 66 at Darlington Road shortly before 5:00 Friday morning.
The Warrick County Sheriff's Office says deputies found the driver of the SUV, 53-year-old Todd Hamilton of Evansville, deceased at the scene.
Investigators say Hamilton was east bound on 66 when his vehicle left the roadway and hit a concrete culvert.
The sheriff’s office says he was not wearing a seatbelt.
The cause of the crash is not known. Alcohol was not believed to be a factor.
