Huffines faces four counts of robbery

Police have arrested a man in connection with a string of robberies in Owensboro. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:

The Owensboro Police Department arrested 45-year-old Michael J. Huffines on four counts of 1st Degree Robbery.

Huffines is accused of four holdups at convenience stores between January 9th and February 11th.

The OPD says detectives spent numerous hours interviewing individuals, collecting evidence, and canvassing neighborhoods.

Police say probable cause was established that led to a search warrant being obtained and executed at Huffines’ home.

The OPD says officers collected more evidence linking Huffines to each of the robberies.
