The facility will house numerous health professions programs for the University of Evansville, the University of Southern Indiana and the Indiana University Medical School Evansville campus. The programs will work side by side to create a transformational approach to health care and medical education.

Politics with a beat: looking at the city's 2014 agenda, accompanied by roots music

On today’s program, we’re looking at city government in 2014.

First, we’ll talk with Mayor Lloyd Winnecke about the items on his agenda, which includes campaigning for his 2015 mayoral run.

Councilman Jonathan Weaver will stop by the studio  and talk about his vision for the year ahead. Cass Herrington asks him about his voting record, which seldom includes a “hell yes.”

To round out the discussion, we’ll hear the roots band Wood Brothers, who performed at WNIN’s first Carpenter House Concert last month.
