Indiana University leaders behind the Evansville medical school proposal process told an audience of developers and investors Thursday morning that the location of the site is not their primary concern.
The Vice President for Capital Planning and Facilities Tom Morrison said he’d rather see architectural creativity and planned space for room to expand.
"In a normal situation like this, where we're on one of our campuses, we would tell you where we are proposing to have a building built," Morrison said. "We just did similar projects in Indianapolis... but we were dictating the site, and in this case we don't own the site. We're totally agnostic."
Essentially, IU will be the tenant in a developer's building.
WNIN's Cass Herrington will have more of this story during The Trend on Friday, December 19 at 12pm Central.
