Indiana University leaders behind the Evansville medical school proposal process told an audience of developers and investors Thursday morning that the location of the site is not their primary concern.

The Vice President for Capital Planning and Facilities Tom Morrison said he’d rather see architectural creativity and planned space for room to expand.

So far, Evansville city officials have kept their preferred downtown location for an IU medical school a closely guarded secret. 

Now, a member of the site selection committee formed to help determine the best downtown location for a planned IU medical school told WNIN News where he thinks the school would be located downtown.
