Indiana fully vaccinated its first person against COVID-19 on Jan. 18. That marked the beginning of a meteoric decline in cases. But, with 3,713 new cases reported Thursday, the state recorded its highest number of new cases since the beginning of the vaccine rollout.

IDOH: Contact Tracing Data Improperly Accessed, Risk “Low’ For 750K Affected

The Indiana Department of Health will notify nearly 750,000 Hoosiers that data from the state’s COVID-19 online contact tracing survey was improperly accessed. The data included name, address, email, date of birth and demographic information collected during contact tracing.

The Indiana Department of Health reports more than 300 COVID-19 cases early in the school year. The state surpasses 3 million fully vaccinated, as new cases surpass 3,000 in a day for the first time since January. Gov. Eric Holcomb maintains that he will not reimpose restrictions. 

The Indiana Department of Health announced Monday the state surpassed 800,000 confirmed COVID-19 cases.
