Evansville Mayor Lloyd Winnecke says the city has no plans to reinstitute mask mandates, despite new CDC guidance and increases in COVID infections. 

COVID-19 infections, hospitalizations, and positivity rates continue to rise in southwest Indiana.

With the Centers for Disease Control now recommending masks indoors for everyone, regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status, is the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation planning to change its policy as a new school year approaches?  

With new guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control released Tuesday, masks will be again be mandatory indoors at the University of Southern Indiana. 

One new fatality and nearly 50 more COVID-19 infections are reported in Vanderburgh County.
