IDOH: Contact Tracing Data Improperly Accessed, Risk “Low’ For 750K Affected

The Indiana Department of Health will notify nearly 750,000 Hoosiers that data from the state’s COVID-19 online contact tracing survey was improperly accessed. The data included name, address, email, date of birth and demographic information collected during contact tracing.

Most teachers and students won’t have to quarantine anymore after a positive COVID-19 case in the classroom. That’s according to new guidance from the Indiana Department of Health.

The U.S. government wrapped up an unprecedented execution spree at a federal penitentiary in Terre Haute on Jan. 16. Officials carried out the death sentences of 13 people beginning July of 2020 and ending days ahead of President Joe Biden’s inauguration.

The Indiana State Department of Health and IUPUI will begin the third phase of its COVID-19 tracking study on Sept. 29. This round of the study is set to include children as participants for the first time.
