Vanderburgh COVID Death Toll Up To 15

Two new COVID-related deaths are reported in Vanderburgh County. 

 

The Indiana State Department of Health announced the fatalities in its Thursday report, raising the county’s COVID-19 death toll to 15.

The state agency also added 29 new confirmed cases in Vanderburgh County, pushing the total to 2,082.

The county's seven-day positivity rate was 10% between July 31 and August 6.

No new coronavirus deaths were reported in Warrick, Posey, or Gibson counties.

Statewide the agency recorded 20 new fatalities, more than 1,000 new cases, and a seven-day positivity rate of 7.8 percent.

The Green River District Health Department reported 19 new infections in its seven-county region, 13 of them in Daviess County.

No new COVID-related deaths were recorded in the district.
