Vanderburgh County has topped 800 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
The Indiana State Department of Health reports 33 new cases in Vanderburgh County, raising the total number of people who are -- or have been -- infected to 801.
The Monday report also showed about 450 new cases statewide and two new deaths.
No new deaths were reported in Vanderburgh, Warrick, Posey, or Gibson counties.
The state report showed less than 38 percent of intensive care beds are available.
More than half of the ICU beds are occupied by non-COVID cases. About eleven percent are COVID patients.
The report showed about 83 percent of the state’s ventilators is still available.
The Green River District Health Department reported 52 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, with more than half of them in Ohio County. 14 new infections were recorded in Daviess County, five in Hancock County, four in Henderson County, and one in McLean County.
