31 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Vanderburgh County.
The Indiana State Department of Health added the new infections to its Wednesday report, raising the number of Vanderburgh County residents who have tested positive since March to 2,053.
More than 29,500 local residents have been tested.
The county’s seven-day positivity rate increased to 10.4 percent.
The state agency did not report any new deaths in Vanderburgh, Warrick, Posey, or Gibson counties.
Statewide, 15 new deaths were reported, along with 671 new cases, and a seven-day positivity rate of 7.7 percent.
The agency reported about 34 percent of Indiana’s intensive care beds remain available, while more than 80 percent of the state’s ventilators are unused.
