Vanderburgh COVID Cases Up 15; No New Deaths

Vanderburgh County’s number of COVID-19 cases has risen by 15. 

The Indiana State Department of Health reported Wednesday the county’s total of infections since mid-March was up to 2,621.

Vanderburgh County’s COVID death toll held at 19.

No new COVID-related deaths were reported in Warrick, Posey, or Gibson counties.

Statewide, 13 new fatalities were recorded, along with more than 870 new cases.

The state reported 10.5 percent of Indiana’s Intensive Care beds were occupied by COVID-19 patients, with 40 percent of ICU beds available.

The agency also said 82 percent of the state’s ventilators are available.

The Green River District Health Department reported 27 new cases in its seven-county region – 13 of them in Daviess County and seven in Henderson County.

No new COVID-related deaths were reported in the Green River District.
