Two COVID Deaths Added in Vanderburgh County

Two new COVID 19-related deaths are reported in Vanderburgh County. 

After several days without any new fatalities, the Indiana Department of Health raised Vanderburgh’s pandemic death toll by two, to 384.

The agency also recorded 26 more COVID infections in the county. Vanderburgh’s seven-day positivity rate fell to three percent.

No new deaths were added in Warrick, Posey, Gibson, Pike, Dubois, or Spencer counties, but 16 new infections were reported in Gibson County.

The number of hospitalized COVID patients in the 12-county district of southwest Indiana held at 33.

Statewide, fatalities rose by 32 with more than 900 new infections on the Thursday dashboard.

Indiana’s seven-day positivity rate stood at 3.1 percent.
