The state of Indiana is reporting the first coronavirus-related death in Gibson County.
The Indiana State Department of Health reported the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Gibson County rose to 13, with one fatality.
No new coronavirus-related deaths were reported in Vanderburgh or Warrick counties.
No deaths have been recorded in Posey County.
The statewide death toll rose by 48 to 1,764.
The state health department reported 676 new cases in its Thursday report, sending the overall total of confirmed cases to nearly 30,000.
More than 200,000 people have now been tested for COVID-19 in Indiana.
