Old National to Close 31 Branches; Cites Digital Banking

File

Old National Bank plans to close two branches in Evansville and one in Owensboro.

The Evansville-based banking company says it will shutter its branches on North Main Street and on Lincoln Avenue by UE.

The bank also announced it will close its banking center on W. Parrish Avenue in Owensboro as part of a consolidation of 31 branches: ten in Indiana, ten in Wisconsin, five in Michigan, four in Minnesota, and two in Kentucky.

In a news release, Old National said the consolidations reflect an "ongoing shift” among clients toward digital banking.

The branches are expected to close April 24th.

The closings were announced as part of the bank’s fourth quarter earnings report.
