Night shift to pave Lloyd ramp

Crews will be working overnight hours to pave a new off-ramp at the Lloyd Expressway and Highway 41.

INDOT says in a news release that workers will pave the second half of the off-ramp from southbound Highway 41 to the westbound Lloyd.

The work is planned for Tuesday night from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Wednesday.

The paving is expected to take one night, weather permitting.

INDOT says drivers can expect delays and possible stoppages during the night work. Flaggers will help direct motorists through the construction zone.

INDOT also warns of more intermittent lane restrictions during normal working hours as crews work on the 41 overpass railing.

Crews expect to wrap up the cloverleaf project this fall. They’ve already removed stoplights from the Lloyd.
