New coronavirus-related deaths are reported in Henderson and Daviess counties.
The Green River Health District reported a fourth death in Henderson County and a fifth fatality in Daviess County in its Tuesday report.
The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the seven-county Green River District approached 600.
The Indiana State Department of Health reported Vanderburgh County’s number of confirmed cases rose to 223.
County Health Director Joe Gries said Vanderburgh’s death toll held at two.
The statewide death toll rose by 57 to 1,678. Fewer than 500 new cases were confirmed.
One new case was reported in Warrick County. No new cases were reported in Posey or Gibson counties.
