Evansville Police are investigating a shooting at an apartment complex.
Officers were dispatched to the Embassy Apartments in the 1300 block of Hatfield Dr. at about 3:00 Wednesday morning for a report of shots fired.
Before officers arrived, Central Dispatch advised that a resident in the complex said someone had been wounded.
In a release, the EPD said officers found blood, a shell casing, and a victim with a gunshot wound to his upper back.
Police said the victim was not able to provide much information but said he saw three males.
An ambulance took him to a hospital, where he was expected to survive.
