Local COVID Cases Continue to Rise

The number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Vanderburgh County is approaching 100. 

The Indiana State Department of Health reported Wednesday the number of Vanderburgh County cases rose by 8 to 96.

No new deaths were reported in the county. One coronavirus fatality has been recorded in Vanderburgh.

The death toll in Warrick County is up to ten. Nine of those deaths were residents of Signature Healthcare in Newburgh.

The state showed the number of confirmed cases in Warrick up to 68.

Posey County held steady at 8 confirmed cases, Gibson County stayed at 5.

Indiana’s statewide COVID-19 death toll rose by 31 to 661.

In western Kentucky, officials have recorded 125 confirmed cases in Daviess County, and three deaths.

36 cases have been reported in Henderson County, with no fatalities.
