Ivy Tech Graduates Receive Degrees at Ford Center

More than 1,300 Ivy Tech students are graduating in Evansville on Tuesday.

The new graduates are taking part in three commencement ceremonies at the Ford Center.

The event also include students who graduated last year, but no program was conducted due to the pandemic.

In a release, Ivy Tech says three outstanding graduates are speaking at today’s ceremonies: Patrick Berryhill, who earned a degree in Paramedic Science, Nakebi Swanigan, who an Early Childhood Education degree, and Luke Harris, who graduated with a degree in  Automotive Technology.

Ivy Tech prepares students to either transfer as a junior to a four-year college of their choice, or to enter the workforce in skilled positions.
