More than a dozen improvement projects are planned along the Lloyd Expressway in Evansville.
In a release, the Indiana Department of Transportation says it plans to invest more than $100 million dollars in the Lloyd4U program.
INDOT says the improvements will make the expressway “more efficient and safer for motorists to navigate.”
The agency says the Lloyd4U plan includes intersection improvements, bridge replacements, and repaving.
INDOT says the projects will extend from the Posey County Line to Cross Pointe Boulevard.
Local and state officials were scheduled to provide more details late Wednesday afternoon.
