Another COVID-19 related death is reported in hard-hit Hopkins County, Kentucky.
On its Facebook page, the county’s health department reported its 29th fatality of the outbreak.
The agency in Madisonville said it’s recorded 219 positive cases and 164 recoveries during the pandemic.
The Green River District Health Department reported 29 new confirmed cases but no new coronavirus-related deaths in its seven-county region.
The Indiana State Department of Health reported no new deaths in Vanderburgh, Warrick, Posey, or Gibson counties.
The confirmed statewide death toll rose by 21 to 1,871
The department said probable additional COVID-19 deaths in Indiana stood at 159.
