State officials say four cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Vanderburgh County.
The Indiana State of Health also reported three cases in Warrick, three cases in Gibson, and the first case in Posey County.
Earlier this week, a case reported in Warrick County was deemed a mistake. That patient was actually from Daviess (Davis) County, Kentucky – which has recorded more cases than any other area county.
The latest Indiana report showed the number of confirmed cases in Dubois County holding at one, while no cases have been confirmed in Pike or Spencer counties.
The number of coronavirus-related deaths in Indiana rose to 17.
The agency said 645 people have tested positive in the Hoosier State out of more than 4,600 tested.
No cases have been confirmed in southeast Illinois.
