Evansville police and firefighters are investigating a blaze that damaged an East Side restaurant.
Firefighters were dispatched to the Wok N Roll Chinese restaurant at 311 S. Green River Road at about 12:45 Wednesday morning.
In a release, the EFD says the first companies arrived in four minutes and found fire in the attic space near the center of the restaurant.
The flames were considered extinguished at 01:07.
Firefighters were called back to the Wok N Roll at about 8:45 a.m. for an apparent rekindle.
Police were also dispatched to the scene for a possible arson report.
The EFD says the fire caused significant damage to the restaurant’s attic and roof.
No injuries were reported.
