Dozens More COVID Cases Reported in Vanderburgh, Warrick Counties

A surge of COVID infections continues in the Evansville area. 

The Indiana State Department of Health reported 62 new cases in Vanderburgh County and 38 new cases in Warrick County on its Monday dashboard.

Over the weekend, the agency reported one new death in Vanderburgh County, raising the local toll to 31.

On Sunday, Warrick County Coroner Sarah Seaton announced three new COVID fatalities – all from Woodmont Health in Boonville.

In its Monday report, the state health department tallied eleven new COVID deaths and nearly 880 new infections across Indiana.

Governor Holcomb eased some COVID-19 restrictions over the weekend

In western Kentucky, the Green River Health District recorded 61 new COVID cases – 25 of them in Henderson County and 22 in Daviess County.
