IN COVID Death Toll Tops 1,500

Indiana’s COVID-19 death toll has topped 1500, while the number of confirmed cases in Vanderburgh County remains under 200. 

The Indiana State Department of Health reported 26 new deaths, raising the statewide total to 1,508.

The agency also reported more than 600 new cases on Thursday, pushing that total beyond 26,000.

The number of people tested for the coronavirus in Indiana topped 160,000.

The department reported just one new case and no new deaths in Vanderburgh County.

Meantime, the Dubois County Health Department reported three new cases, raising its total to 69.
