A new coronavirus-related death has been reported in Dubois County.
The county’s health department reported the eleventh death attributed to COVID 19.
Officials reported eight new positive cases in their Thursday report, raising the Dubois County total to 587.
The department said 340 residents have recovered.
The Indiana State Department of Health reported 50 new cases in Vanderburgh County, while the county’s death toll held at 8.
The county’s positivity rate for the past seven days was 7.6 percent.
No new COVID-related deaths were reported in Warrick, Posey, or Gibson counties.
Statewide, the Indiana agency reported 13 new deaths and 970 new infections, with a positivity rate of nearly nine percent.
