New coronavirus-related deaths are reported in Gibson and Ohio counties.
The Indiana State Department of Health reported Gibson County’s third death of the pandemic in its Wednesday report.
The agency also reported 29 new infections in Vanderburgh County, but no new deaths in Vanderburgh, Warrick, or Posey counties.
The statewide death toll rose by 8 to 2,733. Another 199 fatalities are considered “probable” COVID-19 deaths.
The Green River Health District reported the 6th coronavirus-related fatality in Ohio County.
17 new cases were reported in the seven-county region, eleven of them in Daviess County.
