COVID Cases Up 42 in Vanderburgh; 1,000 New Cases in IN

42 new cases of COVID-19 are reported in Vanderburgh County. 

The Indiana State Department of Health reported the new cases, which raised the county’s number of people who are – or have been -- infected to 1,842.

The county’s seven-day positivity rate rose to 10.4 percent.

No new coronavirus deaths were recorded in Vanderburgh, Warrick, Posey, or Gibson Counties.

Vanderburgh’s death toll held at 13.

The health department reported six new fatalities statewide, along with more than 1,000 new cases.

The Green River District Health Department reported 29 new cases – ten in Daviess County and 8 in Henderson County.

No new COVID-19 deaths were reported in the seven-county district.
