COVID-19 Claims Lives in Vanderburgh, Warrick, and Union Counties

New COVID-related deaths are reported in Vanderburgh, Warrick, and Union counties. 

The Indiana State Department of Health recorded the 18th coronavirus death in Vanderburgh County in its Wednesday report.

The agency also reported 35 new infections, pushing the county’s total since mid-March above 2,400.

Warrick County’s COVID death toll rose to 31, with one fatality added in the Wednesday report.

15 new cases were also reported in Warrick, raising its total to 721.

Statewide, the death toll rose by 18 to 3,041. 971 new cases were reported.

Meantime, the Green River District Health Department recorded the first COVID-related death in Union County.

The department also reported 29 new infections in its seven-county district, 13 of them in Daviess County and nine in Henderson County.
