American Airlines is resuming its flights between Evansville and Chicago.
In a tweet, Evansville Regional Airport announced American would resume the flights to O’Hare International Airport in May.
The airline stopped the flights last year when the COVID-19 pandemic wreaked havoc on air travel.
United Airlines continued flights between EVV and O’Hare, despite the pandemic.
In addition to Chicago, Evansville Regional offers direct flights to Atlanta, Dallas, Detroit, Charlotte, and Orlando.
