Another COVID 19-related death has been recorded in western Kentucky.
The Green River Health District announced the coronavirus death in Ohio County in its Tuesday report.
It‘s the seventh COVID fatality in Ohio County.
The agency also reported 14 new infections in its seven-county region.
In a release, the district encouraged anyone who has been in crowds, had close contact with people in public, or has traveled recently to get tested for COVID 19.
The Indiana State Department of Health reported 37 new infections in Vanderburgh County. The local death toll held at 12, while the seven-day positivity rate rose to 10.2 percent.
No new COVID-related deaths were reported in Warrick, Posey, or Gibson counties.
The agency reported 14 new deaths statewide and more than 800 new cases.
Indiana’s seven-day positivity rate was 7.3 percent.
