Vanderburgh County has recorded another 50 coronavirus infections.
The new cases reported by the Indiana State Department of Health raised the county’s total since mid-March to nearly 3,500.
For a second straight day, the agency reported no new COVID-related deaths in Vanderburgh County. The toll held at 30.
The state’s Wednesday report showed more than 140 COVID patients hospitalized in the county.
No new fatalities were recorded in Warrick, Posey, or Gibson counties. Warrick saw an increase of 24 new infections – pushing the county’s total above 1,200 since the pandemic began.
Statewide, Indiana recorded ten new deaths pushing the toll above 3,300. The agency tallied more than 700 new infections.
In western Kentucky, the Green River District Health Department reported 58 new cases in its seven-county region – 28 of them in Daviess County.
