34 New COVID Cases in Vanderburgh; Count Nears 2,000

34 new COVID cases have been reported in Vanderburgh County. 

The Indiana State Department reported the new infections, which put the county just short of 2,000 overall cases.

Vanderburgh County’s death toll held at 13, while the seven-day positivity rate was just short of ten percent.

No new COVID 19 fatalities were reported in Warrick, Posey, and Gibson counties.

Statewide, Indiana snapped a three-day stretch of at least 1,000 new cases each day with fewer than 700 in its Monday report.

Three new deaths were reported, along with a seven-day positivity rate of seven-and-a-half percent.

The Green River District Health Department recorded 19 new cases in its seven-county region -- a dozen of them in Daviess County.
