An armed gunman entered the Electrical Engineering Building at Purdue University on Tuesday.
The University reports the suspect shot and killed one person. Police are speaking with students who witnessed the murder in the laboratory.
Evansville native Ben Clinnin is a junior in computer engineering at Purdue. Clinnin said his roommate is one of those witnesses, and his first thought when he heard the news was that his roommate was in the building.
WNIN’s Cass Herrington talked with Clinnin two hours after the shooting took place.
