Owensboro will host a community job fair this weekend. WNIN’s Morgan Keller has more:
The Close The Gap job fair is a collaboration between Evansville Goodwill, Manpower, and the Kentucky Career Center.
It is a free event that is open to anyone. It will include more than 25 employers, food trucks, and live music.
The goal of the fair is to close the gap between employers and people looking for jobs. Fair attendees will receive resources to overcome barriers to employment. Evansville Goodwill is offering resources like interview skills and resume building. They also offer a coupon for a five-dollar professional outfit to everyone who signs up.
Interested attendees can register at e-v-v-goodwill-dot-org or at the door. The fair is Saturday from ten to two at the Kentucky Career Center in Owensboro.
