More grim coronavirus numbers have been reported in western Kentucky.
The Green River District Health Department recorded eight more COVID-19 related deaths and 288 new infections in the seven-county district.
The deaths and infections were tallied between Tuesday and Thursday.
Three of fatalities were in Daviess County, one in Henderson County, one in Union County, one in Webster County, and two in Ohio County,
The Daviess County death toll climbed to 275 while Henderson reached 112.
The department listed four of its seven counties as areas of high transmission: Daviess, Hancock, McLean, and Ohio.
Recently, all but Daviess County had been dropped from that list.
